Gerald E. Curry was admitted to the California Bar in December, 1977. He is a graduate of California State University, Northridge, and Whittier College School of Law. He specializes the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, conservatorships, guardianships, elder law and probate and trust litigation, including will and trust contests. Jerry is on the mediation panel of the Los Angeles Superior Court and volunteers as a mediator in the Van Nuys Superior Court, and on the Probate Volunteer Panel of the Los Angeles Superior Court. He is a member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association and the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Bar Association. He is a member of California Associates for Nursing Home Reform, and provides pro bono legal services for elders through the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. Jerry believes that our country is stronger when individuals are involved in their communities. In that vein, Jerry has served as president of the Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce, president of the United Chambers of Commerce of the San Fernando Valley, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of West Hills Hospital, as a board member of the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley, and a member of Rotary. Jerry has been involved in some memorable cases. He represented the family of Lawrence Austin, the owner of the Silent Movie Theater in Hollywood who was murdered in his own theater in 1998.
